Water purifying plant opened
A coin-operated water purifying
plant was inaugurated by Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi and Mayor Mohd.
Majid Hussain at Syed Nagar 2 in First Lancer on Sunday. The plant
consists of two tanks of 3,000 litres capacity each and can be operated
by inserting a one rupee coin. A person can avail up to 11 litres of
purified water for one rupee. The facility will benefit a few hundred
families in the area. In November, a similar project was launched at
Mahboob Colony in Asif Nagar.
