Water supply resumes in Bangalore
With water-level at the Shiva Balancing Reservoir (SBR)
stabilising following the release of water from the Krishnaraja Sagar
(KRS) and the Hemavati, the Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board
has resumed pumping from all its reservoirs from Tuesday. Although this
is still short of the city’s requirement by 250 mld, officials said the
situation could be managed.
