Water supply to be disrupted on Sunday
Water supply to several areas in the city will be
disrupted from 6 a.m. on November 10 to 6 a.m. on November 11 owing to
interconnection works being taken up on the Kerala Water Authority’s
main transmission pipeline from Aruvikkara to the city.
List of areas
The
areas to be affected under the Pattoor and Palayam sections include
Vellayambalam, Sastamangalam, Vazhuthacaud, Thycaud, Jagathy, Palayam,
Statue, Overbridge, Bakery Junction, Murinjapalam, Thekkumoodu,
Vanchiyoor, Pattoor, Chaka, Kannamoola, Goureesapattom, Kunnukuzhy,
Shangumugham, Veli, Plamoodu, PMG, Pettah, Valiathura, Airport and
Thumba; and those under the Kowdiar and Peroorkada sections include
Kesavadasapuram, Pattom, Kumarapuram, Burma Road, Jawahar Nagar,
Mannanthala, Kudappanakunnu, Harveypuram, Peroorkada, Kowdiar,
Kuravankonam, Marappalam, Pothujanam Lane, Chettikunnu, Avitam Road,
Medical College and Pongumoodu.
Supply to areas,
including Ulloor, Prasanth Nagar, Pulayanarkota, Chalakuzhi,
Parutthipara, Muttada, Kazhakootam, Manvila, Attipra, Kattela and
Pullukodu, too will be disrupted, according to an official press release
issued here on Thursday.
