Water supply in several parts of the city will be hit due to
interconnection works being carried out by Chennai Metro Water between
October 25 and 26.
A Metro water spokesman said that piped water
supply in Nanganallur and Alandur would be hit due to interconnection
works underway at GST Road near Alandur Water Distribution station from 9
am on Friday till 9am on Saturday.
The other areas that would be
affected include Adambakkam, Balaji Nagar, B V Nagar and K K Nagar in
Alandur area, Cantonment Board, Officers Training Academy, Meenambakkam,
Indian Air Force Station, Pammal Municipality, Anakaputhur
Municipality, Pozhichalur village panchayat, Cowl Bazaar Village
Panchayat, Munavur Avenue. People can contact the area engineer at
8144930912 water supply through tankers.
