Withhold plan, says Mayor

Mayor N.M. Rajeshwari has urged the Deputy
Commissioner to hold back the infrastructure plan submitted for
endorsement under the Chief Minister’s Rs.100 crore grant. In a
communiqué the Mayor said the plan has neither been tabled nor discussed
by the elected council and hence going ahead with it would be
inappropriate. She said it was imperative for the council to discuss
infrastructure plans of the city.
