Workshop on rainwater harvesting on Thursday
A workshop with the message, ‘Mazhavellam Jeevamritam,’ (Rainwater, the
elixir of life) will be held at the Town Hall here on January 20.
Selected people’s representatives from local bodies and
government officers in related departments will attend. The workshop is
part of an ongoing campaign taken up by the State Remote Sensing and
Environment Centre to sensitise people on the importance of rainwater
harvesting. District Collector P.B. Salim, district panchayat president
K. Jameela and Panchayat Deputy Director P.S. Shobha will attend the
programme.
