HMDA zonal offices to be reorganised
The HMDA has decided to reorganise functioning of its
zonal offices following a report submitted by a committee constituted to
study the performances of the offices and make suggestions for their
smooth functioning.
As per the new orders issued,
zonal offices would function as field offices to receive all
applications from the public and forward them to the head office. They
would also function as a single window for any complaints and
applications under the RTI Act as well as field verification unit for
detecting unauthorised constructions.
